I took these creative ideas and made my own. What I used

-Small tubed black paint [A.C. Moore]
-Plastic table cloth [Dollar Tree]
-String [from around the house]
-Printed pictures [black and white ink/ my printer]
-Printed clues [^^^^^]
PART ONE
First I made the clues for her scavenger hunt I made about 6 clues, rolled them up, and put them into balloons. Then I blew those balloons up and placed them in the corresponding areas to the clues. Now i made my clues based on my friend's house. For example, "Your next clue is in a place where you often take a dip, upon a certain, please be careful, don't trip!" which led her out to her pool where he next clue was in a balloon on a floatee. she then popped that balloon which showed the next clue with a picture of a pool in the background so she knew she made it to the right spot.

-Siblings Bathroom
-Pool
-Kitchen
-Fireplace
-Closet
-Bedroom
PART TWO

Items
-Paint and Brushes
-Lamp
-Picture Frame
-Duct Tape
-Lava Lamp
PART THREE
I also wanted to be personal. I mean it is after all my best friends birthday. I went to A.C. Moore and bought a wooden box. I painted it all black then printed out all of our favorite pictures together and Modpodged them onto the box and placed our band pictures inside. As well as a written birthday letter.
PART FOUR
Andrea, Gidian, and I sat in the living room of Lauren's house while she was at softball practice and blew up all 250 balloons by hand. Andrea Tied these to the stairs and placed some inside as well as outside. We filled Lauren's room with balloons that covered her floor and bed. I took about 12 photos i had printed and tied these to balloons and taped those to the ceiling so that there were best friend pictures hanging from her ceiling over her bed.

She loved the thought and time put into this very special birthday surprise for so cheap.
